The dark green bud comes in small to medium clusters with rusty colored hair and frosty crystals. Its terpenes are comprised mostly of Caryophyllene (.69%) and Limonene (.18%).
Its parent’s strain, Tres Dawg and Chemdawg #4 are both known for their high THC providing the same for its prodigy. It provides and earthy flavor with a diesel undertone leaving a chemical, pine aroma.

Chemdawg #4 has a high potency, testing as high as 26% THC. Outdoors, they can reach up to seven feet tall. Indoors, they usually bud around four to five feet tall. Chemdawg #4 has dense, light green buds covered with a healthy crystal frosting. Though the hairs are scarce, the ones that do show are a dark red.
Tres Dawg, a dark green bud with purple leaves covered in orange hairs and crystals, is generally a 50/50 balanced hybrid strain. It’s sold by Top Dawg seeds, and has a very high THC content ranging from 20 to 25% and CBD level of 0.5%. It flourishes indoors and outdoors with a high yield.
Growing Star Dawg
It’s easy to grow, but it doesn’t supply the highest yields compared to many strains. Indoors or out, you’ll be looking at flowering times of around 75 days and an average yield of 75-100g for every square meter. Star Dawg is tremendous when given the proper training, feeding schedule, and enough time to develop its results. She will changeover into flower in 10-12 days, but even running her the full 78 days will still get you a mediocre yield.
